ALVIN SPEIGHTS has mixed numerous successful major motion picure soundtracks, recorded, mixed and/or remixed for just about every major label in the music business, and over twenty-five of the music industries top producers, including Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri, OutKast & Goodie Mob, Darryl Simmons, Shannon Sanders; and many others who are his recurring clientele. Regardless of how demanding the project, through his own exceptional and distinctive approach, Alvin has time after time been able to shape the sound of music productions for his clients to create the polished, in-your-face design he has grown so illustrious for. MR. ALVIN SPEIGHTS THE HIT MAKER

ALVIN SPEIGHTS, holds a 42nd Grammy Award for the TLC "FanMail" album and a 45th Grammy Award for the India Arie "Acoustic Soul" album. He has worked with numerous artists to make their music #1! Alvin is a native of Atlanta, GA who is known for his awesome creativity and his love for the art of music. He began his professional career under the direction of Marzette Watts at the young age of fifteen as a songwriter for Gold Thumb Records. Six years after becoming a successful producer for Gold Thumb Records, Alvin began engineering live sound with the recording artist, Starbreeze. It was during this project that songwriter, producer and recording artist, Joyce Irby, requested Alvin act as sound engineer for Solar recording Artist Klymaxx, which she was a member. Alvin's unique ability to create sound and do great work prompted Joyce to contact Alvin for his mixing services once again for her debut solo album entitled "Maximum Thrust". From that point Alvin's career took off as a Mix Engineer, going on to mix and engineer three songs on Troops "Attitude" album that went gold; Arrested Development's first album, "3 Years, 5 Months, 2 Days in the Life of..." that went platinum; and the number one single "Jump" by Kriss Kross. Additionally, Alvin mixed for TLC's "CrazySexyCool" album and Grammy award-winning "Fanmail" album, Keith Sweat's "Keep It Comin", Madonna's "Bedtime Stores", and Boys II Men's, "Remix Collection" all of which went multi-platinum. He has mixed and engineered songs on Michael Jackson's "HIStory" album, OutKast's "ATLiens", Goodie Mob's "World Party" and JT Money's "Pimpin On Wax". Alvin's work includes Sammie's "From the Bottom To the Top", projects by Stevie Nicks, Bebe Winans, Yolonda Adams, B5, 112, Jagged Edge and several Soundtrack albums. As on of the premiere engineers in te industry, Alvin has recorded, mixed and remixed for over twenty-five producers (and the list keeps growing) who continuously contract his services. His popularity is due to the fact that he loves and is the best at what he does. They call him "The Doctor" because he has the gift to surgically operate on some of the most challenging tracks that he makes sound like platinum to the ear that actually become platinum selling records. Alvin enjoys mixing, and having once been a writer and producer he knows what people expect and understand the need of producers and artist to have their songs recorded at the best level possible. Always concerned with the wishes of his clients, he uses their input to mold the music in his unique way to create the sound. Alvin is also a first class musician, and being a musician, coupled with his technological understanding of the sophisticated electronic recording apparatus, molds mixes to sound exactly as his clients have the music preconceived in their minds. Alvin has tapped into another level of his creativity and is swiftly progressing in his ever-changing industry. With his extended lists of credits, credentials and awards, he no doubt has established himself as a premier engineer in the industry holding it down in his hometown Atlanta, GA by finding his niche in life and music.
